News Update February 2016
Queen Vid
Welcome to HOPE’s February e-news update. If you are new to our mailing list, we hope you’ll be encouraged and inspired month by month. HOPE’s goal is to see lives transformed in villages, towns and cities as Christians put their faith into words and action, serving communities in Jesus’ name.
The Servant Queen
We are grateful to HM The Queen for her foreword to The Servant Queen and the King She Serves. This 64-page book published by Bible Society, HOPE and LICC is out on Monday. It is due to feature on local BBC radio stations this Sunday as Paul Woolley of Bible Society is interviewed about the book on behalf of the publishing partnership. Do tell us about the plans being made in your area to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, so we can pass details to our national and regional radio, TV and press contacts.

Lent and Easter
EasterHOPE’s Executive Director Roy Crowne says:

‘As we are in the middle of Lent this time of reflection and preparation for both death and resurrection, let’s seek the Lord to prepare for renewal and the new life of Easter.

‘My prayer is that the healer, provider and ultimately suffering Saviour, will cause us to fall in love with him again. And as result, we will learn to love others as he would, as together we serve.’
