Bradford's Stadium Carols event

warren-Evans-largeBradford has a great opportunity to celebrate the festive season in song when Bradford Bulls hosts 'Stadium Carols' at The Provident Stadium, Odsal on Wednesday, 11 December from 7pm.
Francis Cummins' super league squad will be in attendance along with a host well-known figures from the Bradford community.
Warren Evans, Director of Rugby League for Sports Chaplaincy UK (pictured) who has been behind the event, hopes that local people from Bradford’s diverse community will be drawn to other Christmas events in local churches as a result.
The West Yorkshire Police Band and the Olive Branch Gospel Choir, in addition to a host of others, will provide performances on the night.
‘Stadium Carols is a great opportunity to bring the community together as part of the club's BELONG campaign,’ said Bulls Foundation manager Gareth Cook. ‘This is a chance for everyone to come together out of season and an opportunity to bring new people to The Provident Stadium.
‘We have some key figures in Bradford, delivering the readings, and we also have a Christmas market to get everyone in the festive mood. We hope to fill the stadium and raise the roof!’
Bulls CEO Robbie Hunter-Paul added: ‘This promises to be a fantastic occasion for everyone involved and I urge everyone to get behind this fantastic charity this Christmas.
‘We want to celebrate the Christmas period in style and what better way than to do it at the famous Provident Stadium, surrounded by the Bulls team and some of the area's finest bands and choirs’
Tickets are on sale now and are priced at £2.50, with all proceedings being pumped back into the community via the Bulls Foundation. To book your seat, call the Bulls ticket office on 08448 711 490. Tickets will also be made available on the turnstiles on the night of the event.

HOPE and Sports Chaplaincy UK have resources for groups of churches to use to help their local stadium to stage a community carol service.
